About Amanda

The tasks and responsibilities I provide: Helping bathe/dress someone, take vitals, drive them to and from appointments, running errands, groceries, light housekeeping, assist with getting up. I'd describe my personality as caring I like caring for seniors, they give me wisdom that I can use throughout my life. I'm looking for a job that is flexible with my schedule since I am going to school. I can work evenings until 11 p.m. and I can work occasionally weekends. I started caring for seniors in the fall of 2017. My grandmother had congestive heart failure. Being able to care for her in her own safe environment allowed her mind set to stay positive, she ended up living for 3 years until she passed in the winter of 2019. In my spare time, I like to read, paint, go for hikes/walks, enjoy cooking and baking. I am a caring person, determined, a hard worker, and strive for learning to become a better Registered Nurse. My skills include a lot of empathy, communication, and patience.
