About Alyssa

Hi! I'm Alyssa, a dedicated educator with a passion for teaching. With a Bachelor's Degree and a temporary teaching permit from the esteemed California Commission on Teaching Credentialing, I bring over 5 years of invaluable experience in the education sector. My teaching journey has been diverse, covering a wide array of subjects including Math, Social Studies, Science, Reading, LA, and more. Currently, I serve as a substitute teacher in San Diego. This role, coupled with my prior experience as a paraprofessional teacher, has provided me with a unique perspective on the needs and learning styles of students. I've enriched my educational background with a plethora of elementary education courses. These include course in child development, science tailored for educators, specialized math courses for teachers, as well as comprehensive courses on the foundations of American education and exceptional education. I understand the importance of flexibility in a student's learning journey!
