About Allison

I am 31 years old and the oldest of four children, so a born babysitter! I am also currently a Lieutenant! I was a "date night" sitter for multiple families for years! For one family, I got to their home at 5:30 weekday mornings to do the morning routine (breakfast, bottles, lunches, getting dressed, and school drop-off) and went back to help in the evenings. Mom and I would rotate getting the bigger kids and her newborn ready for bed to help everyone's transition in those newborn bubble days! On nights older brothers needed mama, I'd get the newborn bathed, fed, and down while she did bedtime with big brothers (3 and 5). Every other night, we'd swap! Another family had three kids (3, 5, and 7) and I would stay with the kids while their parents were on trips. As the kids got older and had practices on the same nights, I'd take one to practice or keep one and prep dinner and homework. I was also on their check-out list for those middle of the day tummy aches!
