I have always been comfortable and made friends naturally with those that have physical or mental diversities. My mother was in a wheelchair for over 12 years of my life and had to have reconstructive pelvic/hip surgery and two hip replacements. I was raised by her and my grandmother who had cancer 3 times and was on hospice care for many years in our home so I am comfortable with post op surgery care, respiratory care, hospice care, and mobility care. I took care of both of these women after every surgery and through their physical therapies my entire life. I can lift and help out with house chores no problem. Growing up around so many health challenges has really inspired me to clean up my diet and make clean food tastier for the kids I watch so that they form good habits and build strong healthy bodies.
