About Allison

I'd describe my personality as Ernest, compassionate, trustworthy. I am a systems thinker and have worked in health equity for a public health department for the past 6 years and understand that everyone is deserving of care and support to live their most healthful life. I have been caring for adults my entire life having started by supporting my father who was diagnosed with type one diabetes a year before I was born. I also supported my mother through two rounds of cancer treatment, and hospice care in 2013. In 2017 I completed a nursing assistant program including 40 clinical hours in a hospital setting. I like to garden, cook, and be outdoors. I live in e with my husband, dog, and 2-year-old. My skills include meal support, administrative or executive assistance, basic house repair or support with household upkeep. I am very interested in providing support to folks who are weighing their options for aging with dignity and supporting whatever that looks like.
