I love working with children because nurturing and watching them grow brings me a lot of joy. I've been caring for kids ~15 years. From babysitting, au pairing, to behavior therapy, assistant and lead teaching, I've had the privilege of caring for everyone from 9 mo olds to pre-teens & young adults w/ special needs. My MSc in Applied Behavior Analysis enriches my understanding of development & behavior, making me patient and understanding. I am creative, calm, and approachable. I love being outside, crafting, baking, board games, and puzzles. I am comfortable caring for two children. I can help with cooking, housekeeping, crafts, etc. *I do not drive*, but am adept at using public transit. Certified in CPR/First Aid. I'm comfortable communicating with parents over phone, email & text. I have a flexible approach to discipline: focus on understanding context & appropriate boundaries rather than strict rules (though I will follow parental rules).
