I'm looking for a *summer* position from 6/8 until the last week of August. I love children because nurturing and watching them grow brings me a lot of joy. I've been caring for kids over 15 years. From babysitting, an au pair, to a behavior therapist, assistant and lead teacher. I've had the privilege of caring for 9 mo olds, pre-teens & young adults w/ special needs. My MSC ain Applied Behavior Analysis enriched my understanding of development & behavior, making me patient and understanding. I am creative, calm, and approachable. I love being outside, crafting, baking, board games, and puzzles. I am comfortable caring for two children. I can help with cooking, housekeeping, crafts, and more. *I do not drive*, but am adept at using public transit. Certified in CPR/First Aid. I communicate with parents over phone, email, text. I use a flexible approach to discipline: focus on understanding context & appropriate boundaries rather than strict rules, though I will follow parental rules.
