About Alexis

Hello! My name is Alexis I'm a caregiver with over 14 years of experience supporting children of all ages and needs. I bring a warm, playful energy to my work, paired with a deeply attentive and thoughtful approach to each child and family! I currently work at a Waldorf school as a para, supporting a young child in a relationship-centered environment. I love fostering independence, gently guiding decision-making, and nurturing empathy-work that's grounded in my degree in Psychology and Human Development & Family Sciences. I also have experience in ABA therapy and previously served as a team lead for a child with complex medical needs, where I developed strong collaboration and care skills. I'm currently building my own business that focuses on Relationship Development Intervention (RDI), a family-centered approach that supports long-term development through strong parent-child connection. Outside of work, I love crafts, hiking, skiing, and being outdoors!
