About Alexandra

Hi! My name is Alex, and I have over 10 years of experience working with children and youth. I am a graduate student in the School Psychology program at the University of Washington Tacoma. I'm currently on summer break. I've spent significant time living with and caring for my two nieces (now 3 and 7) and love the opportunity to explore, learn, help them build confidence, and have fun with kids of all ages! I've worked in various classroom and school settings, after-school programs, summer camps, youth sports, and mentoring programs. Families often describe me as patient, dependable, and easygoing. I enjoy getting outside, playing games, reading stories, helping with homework, and creating supportive environments where children feel safe and valued. I'm also comfortable around pets and happy to help with pet care. I'm primarily looking for part-time summer opportunities a couple days a week, but I'm also open to occasional babysitting and pet care during the school year.
