About Alexandra

Hello! My name is Alex, and I'd love to help create better study habits organizational skills, and build a good foundation for school success with your child. I am currently in school pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology at USF. I found a love for working with children in volunteer work throughout college as a health educator, counselor, and tutor. I love to encourage and teach early readers, promoting a love for lifelong learning. I can lesson and craft plans for various ages, customized to family preferences and individual child needs. I believe in teaching healthy coping mechanisms for school stress and developing time management skills. I am a published researcher, so I have prior experience editing and proofreading papers, and I love to help young writers develop this skill. In addition, I can provide college application and financial aid counseling support as I previously worked as a financial counselor at Purdue University.
