About Alaysha

Hello, my name is Alaysha and I am so excited to have the opportunity to work for you. I have been working with children since I was 14 years and I have loved every minute of it. I have cared after infants all the way to pre-teens , and I have taken them out on a number of field trips. My favorite place to take them is to the Smithsonian's because I believe that history is the window to that future and you should soak up every ounce of it. I believe in multiple creative outlets and self expression, I love to take kids painting, pottery sculpting, gardening, and music in the park. I am keen on physical activity and playing is a great way to get that out. Swimming, playground adventures, and soccer on the field are just some ways that I believe that children can let out all their energy and still get in great physical exercise. I am transitioning out of the school system as a preschool/kindergarten teacher and I hope that we can work with each other soon.
