This was my first time using Care.com so we were initially understandably hesitant but I knew when Latierra applied, she was the right person, and somehow is even better! She arrived earlier just to put us at ease, was so kind and loving to our son, and I immediately felt at ease with her being around him. It was the best experience ever and we are so grateful for her help. If I could give ten stars, I would. 

Did not get an opportunity to work with her; however, when we expressed our lack of interest, she appeared to have a bit of an attitude.  Last thing I want my infant around is someone who gives attitude with the slightest inconvenience or rejection.  Wishing her the best, but not my type of care provider either way. 

Tia babysat our one year old and was a great babysitter! She showed up slightly early, asked questions to make sure she knew how to handle things, and gave us updates through the night. I would definitely recommend working with her. 

Such a wonderful sitter! My kids were very nervous about having a new babysitter and I was worried how it would go. She is clearly an expert on helping kids quickly feel comfortable in her care. They adored her, and so did I! We have had her come back several times and I am always impressed by how professional she is while still being so friendly and warm. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a babysitter!

Our daughter is speech delayed and autistic. Latierra interacted with her wonderfully and we noticed that our daughter was much chattier the next day.  We've hired Latierra twice so far and plan to continue doing so on a regular basis.

Latierra was so great with my 20 month old daughter who she cared for while I was in town on business. She was communicative and gave me regular updates. My daughter was having a bit of separation anxiety, and Latierra was really good about letting my daughter feel how she was feeling while finding ways to comfort (she took her for a walk through the hotel to calm her). She also noticed my daughter pulling on her ears, and gave me heads up which turned out to be double ear infections when I took her to the doctor when I got home. You can tell she is a mama, and she really treated my daughter with the care of one.

We had Tierra come for a three days in August to help watch the boys while we managed our move. Right off the bat I knew we were in great hands. Tierra was so good with my boys (3 and 1). They absolutely loved her, and we are definitely hiring her again (already set in fact). So happy to have found her in a new city!

Latierra is the best babysitter I ever had! She took care of my 16 month old son over two evenings. He smiled at her and warmed up to her at first sight which is impressive because he usually does not like strangers. She has a wonderful personality, any parent and child would adore her. She is a great communicator and is on time. She was perfect! I would hire her again. Thank you Tierra!

LaTierra was a phenomenal babysitter! We were visiting from out of town for a wedding. She came to our rental and watched our 22-month-old daughter for about 7 hours. She also brought her little girl who is the same age, and that was an extra special treat for our daughter. She fed, bathed, and successfully put our daughter to bed in a totally new environment. She sent us updates throughout the evening so that we knew things were going well. Next time we visit DC we will definitely hire her again!

Tierra has always been our go to sitter after our initial interview back in 2021. She's great at communicating, very punctual, and keeps the kids entertained and engaged in activities throughout their time with her. She's been very flexible to accommodate our needs if they change during our date nights. I'd recommend her without reservation!

I hired Latierra to mind the children at my parents 50th wedding anniversary party. She took care of the 7 or so children at the children's table, helping them get their drinks, food, and clean up spills. She helped them eat their meals and otherwise oversaw them while the adults could enjoy the party. She arrived on time and was professional and caring. I also assigned her a special project during the event, which she completed successfully and as directed. Please note she may not accept checks, so discuss payment preferences with her beforehand. If I have future needs involving childcare, I would certainly hire her again without reservation. Latierra did an excellent job; I'm so lucky she applied to my job.

Tierra was amazing! She watched my almost-4 month old for a week when we had a gap in childcare during one of his (so far) worst fussy phases and kept him occupied with songs, books, and other educational toys. He loved her so much, and I was so much more relaxed (it was my second week back at work) knowing that he was in good hands. We would 100 percent hire her again!

Tierra was amazing with our 3 boys. She watched my 3 year old son, and his cousins who are 4 and 1. The boys loved her and had a great time and she even got them to bed much earlier than we had been able to do! She was easy to work with, communicative, and really positive. She sent us lots of updates about how much fun the kids were having and what they were up to (which we asked for and loved.) I really appreciated that she straightened up the place too before we got home. We would strongly recommend and would hire her again in a heartbeat.

Latierra was awesome and my kids had a great time. She was able to keep up with my 3 boys without any trouble at all. Plus, my house was clean and tidy when I got home. We will definitely have her back!

I hired Latierra to watch my 9 month old son for an afternoon. It was the first time we got a babysitter for him, so I was nervous. Latierra answered my messages very quickly and was available, enthusiastic to help, and punctual. She was able to get my son to sleep when he was fighting nap time and she offered to clean bottles and fold laundry while he was napping. She followed my feeding routine and did a great job playing with him, singing songs and working on his fine and gross motor skills. My son played well with her and did not cry. She communicated with pictures and messages while she was watching him. She is friendly, helpful, reliable, nurturing, and clearly loves kids and takes pride in her job as a caregiver. I will look to hire her again when we need babysitting.

LaTierra or Tee was open to talking on video chat the week before to get to know each other. She was on time, knew what she was doing and was great with our 18months old. She sent us updates (1-2) to let us know she stopped crying and was playing and sent us pictures. She let me know when she went to sleep. It was nice peace of mind after hiring a complete stranger and I would NOT hesitate to hire her again!!
