About Alana

Hi! I'm Alana, a recent law school graduate preparing for the bar exam and looking for an after-school nanny position. I've always loved working with children and supporting families! My experience includes two years babysitting two children, ages 5 and 7, with special needs; one year babysitting three children in Austin; and one year as an after-school nanny while attending UT Austin. These roles included planning crafts, preparing dinner, and cleaning. I also worked with elementary-aged children in the Texas School for the Deaf's after-school program for a year. While at UT, I completed coursework toward an education degree, including a class focused on teaching math to children. I would love to bring that background to homework help. I understand how much trust goes into choosing someone to care for your children, and I'd love to be a dependable, supportive part of your family's after-school routine!
