About Amanda

Hi, I'm Amanda! I bring three years of paid caregiving experience across a variety of settings--including experience in a daycare managing children 3 months to 12 years, as well as an after-school nanny. These roles have made me highly skilled at managing multiple children at once, keeping routines on track, and adapting my communication style to meet each child's age and developmental stage. I earned my bachelor's degree from UT Austin, along with a minor in Spanish, and I'm comfortable incorporating basic Spanish into daily interactions. I am CPR/First Aid certified and have my own dependable transportation. I excel at supporting academics - I approach homework by helping students take ownership of their schoolwork, guiding them to independently solve problems and build lasting confidence. I'm an animal lover and happy to help with light housekeeping. I have references available and would love to connect!
