Hi families! My name is Nicole, and I'm graduating this May from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. I'm currently looking for a summer nanny position and would love to support a family during this time I have over 7 years of experience caring for children from newborns to 10 years old, and I'm CPR and First Aid certified. I've worked as a private nanny for multiple families in Austin and currently work as an after-school teacher at Magellan International School, so I'm very comfortable managing routines, planning activities, and creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for kids. I'm also bilingual in English and Spanish. I'm responsible, patient, and genuinely enjoy working with children and supporting families however I can. I was so nervous to bring someone in to our home to help with our then 6 month old. It's hard to trust someone with your baby! Nicole has been an absolute treasure. I would not have survived his first year without her. She came in and instantly took over where I needed help - she didn't need hand-holding from me but was also extremely patient and open when I wanted to show her exactly how I wanted something done. I felt extremely comfortable with her taking him on outings to the store, library, parks, etc. First in his stroller and eventually using our car. I highly reccomend Nicole - our son started daycare recently but we will continue to use her for date nights, etc! She's a rockstar!
