About Alaina

Hello! I'm a certified elementary teacher with 6 years of experience teaching kindergarten and first grade, plus 2 summers of tutoring. I'm Orton-Gillingham certified and specialize in helping beginning and struggling readers build strong literacy skills through personalized, engaging instruction. I also provide homework help and extra practice to reinforce classroom learning and build confidence. This school year, I'm transitioning to a part-time kindergarten teaching role and am excited to work with students one-on-one. I believe every child can succeed with the right support, encouragement, and instruction tailored to their needs. My goal is to make learning fun, meaningful, and confidence-building while helping each child reach their full potential.
