About Maddie

Hello! My name is Maddie. I'm passionate about helping elementary students unlock their potential. For the past three years, I've worked as a certified teacher, creating engaging and supportive learning environments. I adapt my teaching methods to each student's individual style, using visual aids, hands-on activities, and open discussions to foster a love for learning. I believe in building confidence by breaking down complex problems and connecting topics to real-world examples. Communication is key; I provide regular updates to parents, ensuring we're all working together. The most rewarding part of tutoring is witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student truly understands. I have a college degree, my own car, and I'm comfortable with pets. I am eager to help your child succeed in Math, English, Science, Art, Music & Drama, Special Education, Study Skills, and History. I'm CPR and First Aid trained.
