I have over 25 years experience working with children; Nanny, After school Supervision, Daycare Director and Teacher. I'm also a Mother of 3 children, B age 17, A age 17 and C age 16. I hold an Early Childhood Education Degree as well as my Elementary Education Degree. I am Federally Background Certified thru the school systems and Department of Education (requirement to work with children). I enjoy being outside, games, biking, walking, hiking, exploring, crafts of all types, photography, baking, ceramics, painting and many more hobbies & interests. Adrianne was such a wonderful sitter for our one year-old son while we went to a wedding in Deer Isle, Maine. She was able to drive out to where the wedding venue was, about 30 minutes away for her and charged a reasonable price for the travel. She showed up with toys and books ready to entertain our little guy who was experiencing a lot of separation anxiety away from Mom and Dad. She even let him keep some of them! So unexpected and nice. He was a bit under the weather and she took it all in stride and managed to get him calm down and napping by creatively taking him for a nature walk. By the time we had gotten home, she had even cleaned up the kitchen for us. She was extremely professional, very responsive, and genuinely treated our son like her own. We would work with her again anytime! So glad we were able to have her when we had to leave our little guy for his first time away from home all alone without his parents.
