Hi! My name is Jillian but you can call me Jill or Ms. Jill! 
I have 8+ years of experience in professional childcare through various programs for the YMCA - including infant, preschool and school age care. 
Coming from a very large family, I have experience babysitting for as long as I can remember! It is my pride and joy to provide an environment for children to be themselves and feel safe. Nothing means more to me than being valued by a family for my fun loving, simple, and upbeat approach to childcare. Your child will always feel safe and happy in my care, and hopefully entertained!
I like to provide age appropriate activities in my care such as gross motor and fine motor activities, sensory play, imaginary and creative play! I also happily provide light housekeeping for any in-home experience.
I also provide pet care and/or overnight stays as needed!

Jill was absolutely wonderful for us and everything went smoothly! She looked after our 3 year old son for a full day/evening while we were in town for a wedding.  She took great care in keeping in touch and answering any questions we had prior to our trip to Bar Harbor. The day of, she came prepared with books, stickers, toys, and bubbles to keep our little one entertained.  It was really nice to receive updates/photos throughout the day to see all the fun that was being had.  I would highly recommend her, and wouldn't hesitate to reach out to her again the next time we are in Bar Harbor!

Jill was a wonderful nanny to our two and a half year old daughter. She was always on time, and walked in the door with a smile! She was very observant of her needs, and teaching her new things! One of my favorite things about Jill, is that the TV was NEVER on - and she was never on her phone - she was completely present the entire time she was watching our daughter.

Jill is an natural gifted care giver and outstanding professional. She checks all the boxes and more. She cared for our 8 month old daughter multiple times on our family vacation to Florida. Jill was able to adapt to her ever changing schedule and allowed for mom and dad to relax knowing our baby girl was in the best care. We wish Jill lived closer to have her be in our lives all the time!

Jill babysat our 3 month old son while in Florida.  We were vacationing there for two weeks and she babysat a few evening so we could go out to dinner. She was always early, listened, and made us feel so comfortable! Our son adored her and she was wonderful at putting him down for the evening.  We wish we could hire her full time. She made everything seamless!

Jill has provided wonderful care for both our 3.5 year old AND our dog. We originally hired Jill as an afternoon nanny a couple days a week. Our daughter looks forward to Jill's arrival every day and Jill always comes with both great adventures and activities in mind and enough flexibility to adjust on the fly because the best laid plans and three year olds don't always go together! Jill is patient and kind to our daughter, and happily reads, plays pretend, and goes on long outdoors adventures with her. We feel so fortunate to have found her! When Jill is here, I can shut myself in my office and work with zero worries about how things are going, which is a refreshing change from other babysitters we've had. 

Once we discovered Jill was a pet-lover, as well, we asked her to do some dog sitting when we had to go out of town. Our dog adores her, and happily snuggles up and adventures with her all weekend. We come back to a happy, relaxed dog, which is no small feat with our pup!

We hired Jill while on vacation and she was so great with our six month old daughter who in the past has only wanted her parents but absolutely adored Jill. Jill made us feel so comfortable while we went out to dinner and on hikes and she was always providing updates. We would absolutely hire Jill again and wish she lived near us!

Jillian came to our rescue when we needed help for the weekend while we attended a wedding in Bar Harbor. She was friendly, at ease with the children and very receptive to all instructions and needs we had. If you need any child care you can count on Jill! If we find ourselves in Maine again we will be calling Jill!

Jill is an amazing caregiver for both pets and children. She has gone above and beyond when caring for our dogs and is always willing to lend an extra hand with the kids. Not only is she caring, but on the occasions we have hired her, she's left our house nicer than she found it. I appreciate all of the effort Jill goes through to make us feel comfortable leaving our dogs or kids in her care!

Jill watched our two kids (4y & 18m) for a couple of weeks while we were on vacation / working remotely in Bar Harbor. Jill is fantastic with kids, she keeps them active and engaged all day, plus she showed up with a variety of different activities which our kids loved. Highly recommend!

Jillian was wonderful with our six month old - she was punctual, reliable, experienced, communicative, and our daughter loved her!

We have a 5 year old girl and 7 year old boy and both of them LOVED Jill. She was able to care for them for full days since we had a lapse in child care. Jill provided wholesome activities that kept the kids engaged. She was able to adapt to the weather and did both fun indoor craft activities and games as well as getting them out for walks and sports. We also loved that Jill was able to mimic our parenting style by keeping them off screens and having guidelines with them. Would 100% refer a friend and hope to be able to get her again!

Jillian is an amazing babysitter. She kept my kids (ages 2 and 3) safe, happy, and entertained while I ran errands for a day. She came prepared with toys and games for the kids. She was also super easy to coordinate with, even as our plans for the day kind of came together at the last minute. Jill was responsive, responsible, and accommodating. She also knows Bar Harbor super well and can help with recommendations. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a babysitter.

Jill cares for our girls, ages 7 and 4.5, as well as our two 8 month old yellow lab puppies. She plans fun activities and adventures to keep the girls engaged and busy. She makes breakfast and lunch for them and my house is always cleaner when I return than when I left. We have known Jill for over 6 years and she has extensive experience in early childhood care and development. Her communication skills are terrific, she is always early, and is very reliable and flexible with our demanding schedules. My girls (and dogs!) love her - she is such a great addition to our family!

We have a chaotic house with one loud opinionated kid, and one quiet but also opinionated special needs kid. Jill is always on time, with a smile on her face, and has an amazingly calm demeanor that is just perfect for my kids. She knows all of the fun daycare projects and songs and ways to get kids to rally, but she also is laid back and comfortable with my kids being kids. She always allows my kids dessert (if they eat their veggies) or 15 more minutes of the movie (if they brush their teeth first) or one more pillow fight (if they tidy their room after). Jill is also communicative, answers texts in a timely manner and isn't bothered if I check in one too many times. We adore her.
