In 2015, I graduated from Boston University with a Master's in Education, and I am a certified Pre K-8 Physical Education teacher. Throughout my career I have done it all; I've helped several families raise their young children, taught in pre-school, after-school, and in-school programs, was the director of two summer camps, and have lead back-packing trips for teens. I am an outdoor enthusiast, who is patient, kind, playful and absolutely loves hanging out with kiddos. I also truly love getting to know families and helping them out with whatever is needed. I like to incorporate enthusiasm, creativity, learning, and child development to all activities. We cannot sing Heidi's praises enough! We were so lucky to have her as a nanny for our son when we lived in Southwest Harbor. He still sings the songs she made up for him, and wishes we could move back to Maine. Heidi would take him out on adventures, which he absolutely adored. There are no words to convey how beautiful a soul Heidi is. She is so authentic and present with children, and really sees and hears them. The world is a better place with Heidi in it, and if you are lucky enough to cross paths with her, her presence in your child's life will be the greatest gift. I believe the days my son spent with Heidi over the two years we lived in Maine, when he was 3-4 years old, have had a profound and positive impact on the person he has grown into. To have another adult, like Heidi, in one's life who is loving, present, and who loves to laugh, be outdoors, play, and show up for your child with such acceptance and care is a remarkable gift for any child.
