I have experience working with children with autism across multiple daycare settings, where I supported several children with varying needs over the course of about a year. In these roles, I assisted with daily routines, encouraged positive social interactions, and adapted activities to meet each child's individual abilities and comfort levels. This experience strengthened my patience, communication skills, and ability to remain calm and supportive in a range of situations. I am currently pursuing a degree in therapeutic recreation, which is further expanding my knowledge of inclusive care, developmental needs, and creating engaging, supportive environments for individuals with special needs.
