I worked with numerous children with autism, Adhd, behavioral problem. I was a paraprofessional at Ansonia middle school. I have a foster child in my home with autism and behavior issues. I was able to get my 4-year-old on the right track with his behaviors, I potty trained him. Every Monday and Tuesday I baby sit a 5-year with autism as well. I used highly structured teaching approaches to build positive behaviors (such as social communications) and reduced unwanted behaviors (such as tantrums, aggression, and self injury). I have a lot of patience and make all kids feel accepted and wanted.
