Hello everyone, I am looking for part time private work either permanent or temporary to help supplement my current employment. Very experienced in all caregiving positions. I have been a certified nursing assistant since March of 2009 but employed in the field since 2000. Also have my medication administer certification and am CPR, PMT, and AED certifications. I am experienced in tranfers with hoyer lifts and have cared for various health diagnosises both physical or mental health disabilities. Also experienced with all age groups from infancy to geriatrics. Currently I am employed for the CT Dept of Developmental Services part time. I also have worked in the school system, home care, nursing homes, hospice care, and group homes for the developmentally disabled. I truly love my field of work because it is what I do best... help others and make their hardships a little easier to live with. I care and listen to their needs and wants of themselves or their family.
