I have worked at a physical therapy office as an assistant for 2 years. I also assisted a group of neurologists for two years and I am currently care giving for an elderly person. I attend to their needs which mainly consist of preparing meals, light housekeeping, helping with grocery shopping, help with going up and down stairs, medication reminders and overseeing activities such as showering and occasional walks. Thanks to these positions I have provided assistance to various age groups and have gained great knowledge about caring for those who have been injured or suffer from a physical disability . I love what I do and find it very full-filling to be able to help those who can use my skills. Working with patients and being able to bring some brightness into their day is something that has no monetary value. I also enjoy learning and connecting to my patients . I aspire to be of great assistance to those around me.
