About Abigail

I am a grad student at CU Boulder working on my masters in speech-language pathology. Before I moved to Boulder for grad school, I taught elementary school in Indiana for 4 years and have loved caring for children since I was a teenager. I am passionate about building relationships with children and providing opportunities for them to grow and learn through play. My favorite things to do with children are read together, do crafts, play outside, and explore the world around us. As a caregiver and a teacher, I have always learned just as much from children's perspectives of the world as I hope they have learned from me, and the genuine pleasure of spending time with children has guided all of my future and career planning. I have experience taking care of children of all ages and can assist with homework or remote learning. I'm excited to get to know families in my local community!
