About Rose

For the last year and a half, I've been teaching toddlers at a Reggio inspired program, as well as offering regular care to a private family. I'm passionate about working with young children, especially ages 2-5. I've learned a lot from Reggio curriculum: I meet children with empathy and generosity and see them as capable individuals with the skills to lead their experience in the world. I also believe that setting clear boundaries creates a structure for their exploration to thrive. Outside of this work, I am also an artist working in ceramics and illustration, and I love to make art with kids in my care! I also love reading, music, dancing, and cooking! I like working with kids because it encourages me to engage with the world with more awe, curiosity, and play. I'm looking for regular, part time work (10-20 hrs/week) with one or two families. I am moving to Boulder in August from Vermont to begin a grad program in ceramics at CU!
