About Abigail

As a certified English teacher and recent Penn State graduate, I have gained valuable experience through my time in the classroom where I taught 8th grade English. During this opportunity, I was able to work with students and see how they learn best in a classroom setting. I also have experience as a volunteer tutor through a program at the local high school, where I tutored two 3rd graders in math to prepare for the PSSA test. This opportunity allowed me to improve upon my communication skills, as well as gain a better understanding of how students think and learn new material. My strongest subject is English, but I am willing to work with any students on any subject!
