I'm Abby, a dedicated childcare professional who has been caring for children since I was 12. I've worked as a babysitter, nanny, mother's help and newborn night nurse, supporting families from around the world. Raised in Kenya, I'm experienced with children of all ages-from newborns to 12-year-olds-and pride myself on delivering reliable, compassionate care tailored to each family's needs.

Abby was with our family from when our daughter was 9 months old until started daycare at 17 months old. Our daughter really loved Abby and grew very close to her during that time. Abby was very interactive and worked very closely with us as our daughter went through a lot of big changes (bottles to food, crawling to walking, etc). We were very lucky to have Abby with us and were sad to transition into daycare. In addition to our daughter really loving her time with Abby she was also very reliable, which was super important for us with work schedules. Definitely recommend! 

Abby was with our son from the age of 5 months until present time (9 months +).  Abby has a natural ability to connect with babies/children.  She is very knowledgeable about different parenting styles, child interaction and child development.  She helped me navigate being a new mom and discovering my own parenting style.  She always respected my decisions about my child.  My situation meant that I could show up at any time or was in a room nearby and Abby was never not reading, singing, walking, teaching or giving affection to our son.  She also looked after our 2 year old twin nieces.  My son absolutely loves her and I felt so safe leaving him with her, if we weren't moving we would never want to lose her.

Abby worked for us to help care for our 4-month old daughter. Abby was warm, welcoming, professional, and was the perfect person to help us out. We are so grateful for Abby, and recommend her in a heartbeat.

Abigail is trustworthy and will care for your children as if you were there with them.  We miss her a lot - and we keep in touch often.

Abby started working for our family when our daughter was 8 months old and continued till she was over 2 years old. Abby is very dependable, was always punctual and very responsible. She was excellent with our daughter, read to her constantly, took her out for walks, kept her busy and entertained. She has a way of connecting with kids at their level, our daughter adored her and still asks after her. We were sad to see Abby go, she will be a great addition to any family that chooses to hire her!

Abby's natural instincts are in line with current parenting trends: no TV, no sweets, lots of music, lots of reading, distract and redirect, and lots of outside play time. My daughters were 4 and 2 when Abby was looking after them. She is kind, patient, but firm. She played with them as much as possible while not giving in to their unreasonable demands. The children always looked forward to seeing her.

Abigail has been with our family since 2013 when my daughter was 2 weeks old. I had a lot of post par-tum challenges and she was so supportive of me and so loving to our little infant. She is very kind, gentle and nurturing and supported my attachment parenting philosophy. She's continued to care for our daughter on and off for the past 4.5 years. My daughter adores her and still remembers the songs she sang to her when she was a baby. I trust her as if she were part of my family. Highly recommend! 

If there were more stars to give I would. If not for moving across the county Abby would be our daughter's nanny for as long as possible (we even went as far as trying to talk her into moving). She has been so fantastic, it was hard to believe she's was really only with us for 5 months because she feels more like family. From the moment we met her we loved her. She's always been amazing with our daughter, taking her on walks, reading constantly.  In fact, the first week she watched our daughter she made a point to say we needed more books :) Abby has been nothing short of fantastic and had always gone above and beyond. 
It's hard to put into words how wonderful she is without sounding like we're over-selling but it's all true. We trust her 100% and without a doubt wholeheartedly recommend her and any family would be lucky to have her.

Abby was referred to me by her previous employer, a friend of mine who moved towns. She graciously stepped in when my current nanny was suddenly called away and seamlessly fit herself into both my son's daily life and my unpredictable work schedule. 

Abby is responsible, caring and kind, and brings a unique perspective to childcare garnered from her life experience and living in foreign countries. I feel she taught my son some valuable lessons about the world outside his door, in addition to the usual lessons of play nice, clean up after yourself and get some time out-of-doors every day. After play-dates and park-dates I often heard from the other parents how great Abby was from both a social and a child-care perspective.
