About Aaron

My name is Aaron. I am the oldest of five kids and have been working with children for the last 15 years. I have experience with children ages 0-18. I have worked at daycares, a summer camp, and a private boarding high school. During and after college I was a part-time nanny for two families. I love art, singing, playing dress-up, and making up stories. I love encouraging kids to help out by turning "chores" into a fun contest or game. I also have experience teaching art to children ages 3-12. For the last four years I have worked as an in-home caregiver for elderly adults. My experience ranges from caring for a woman with severe Parkinson's disease (assisting with eating, walking, showering, using the toilet, etc.) to serving as a companion and transporting clients unable to drive. I enjoy getting to know each of my clients and form a genuine connection with them. My clients appreciate my presence, my intellect, my gentle hands-on care, my humor, and my conversation skills.
