About Athena

I first started working with children at age 13, when I began learning to teach martial arts to kids as young as 3. Since then, I have gained experience as an ESL teacher, a farm educator, a reading teacher, and a nanny for 4 different families. I spent several years working with children with behavioral difficulties, and I have spent the last few years working with children with disabilities. In addition, I also frequently care for my preschool- and school-age nieces and nephews. I love spending time with kids and helping to inspire them to be all that they can be. Currently, I am working a M-F 8-4 job in the school system, so I am looking for occasional evening or weekend babysitting. If you're looking for someone for an evening out, give me a shout!
