About who needs care: My mother has a lot of health conditions that
she takes prescribed medications for. She is a bariatric patient but can turn and roll on her own; shell just next assistance getting out of bed and doing physical therapy. She's also bedridden. She spent about 3 years in a in-home facility to rehab her legs but they didn't give her the best care. We are in desperate need to find someone asap!
I would prefer someone who has a couple of years of care for elders and a plus if you have experience with bad attic patients.
My mother is very laid back and the sweetest. She
goes above and beyond for her caregivers and sadly doesn't pick the right ones :( Her typical day consists of coming when she's woken up for the day and helping her use the restroom (more details when we talk more) getting her a drink, ice pack, snack, or breakfast then you can leave when she's done. She's need someone whos
really flexible with their time being shell mainly only need help with restroom daily- could be 2x a day to 8x a day.
She is a client through IHSS and gets 41 hours a week- 82 hours every two weeks and whatever their hourly rate is. All the workers who have worked with my mother
never work those full hours honestly. Shell need bed bath about 1-2x a week and to get up and do 1-1 physical therapy together to get her up and mobile on her own is the main goal!

About the care needs: I'm looking for someone compass and patient. My mom loves
to laugh and joke and she needs someone positive. The problem I've found without a lot of her caregivers is that they get to close to her where they're comfortable to say whatever they want thinking its funny to treat my mother or talk to her disrespectfully. She loves to talk and would prefer someone who is open minded and will have conversations with.
Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
