Hello! I'm Lisa. I'm seeking a position as a senior, special needs, and/or companion caregiver. I'd prefer to work approximately 30 hours per week. I have open availability and am flexible scheduling wise. I am a retired nurse midwife and nurse practitioner. Most recently, I was member of a 24/7 home care team for a 65-year-old bed-bound woman diagnosed with glioblastoma. She required total care. Prior to that I was the primary caregiver for an 89-year-old blind and deaf woman with severe dementia. I spent entire days with her and assisted her with all aspects of life. I enjoy helping the patients I care for live happy, comfortable lives. Experience with cancer, dementia, medication administration, tracheostomy care, Foley catheter care/insertion, enteral feeding tube care, PICC line care, assisting with therapy exercises, and bathing/grooming. Excellent references available upon request.

Lisa is a wonderful caregiver. I worked with Lisa in her most recent caregiver position as part of the same home care team. Lisa is kind, hardworking, and dedicated. She is reliable, dependable, and immensely trustworthy. We never had any doubts in the quality of our patient's care when Lisa was on the clock. Lisa ensured everyone's needs were constantly met whether that was the patient we cared for, the patient's husband, or her fellow team member's. Lisa was always willing to help in whatever way she could. She often stayed late without any complaints if fellow team members were running late or needed assistance. Lisa filled out all clinical paperwork and was extremely thorough. The patient grew to love Lisa and smiled from ear-to-ear when Lisa came on for a shift. Lisa would often sit with the patient who was bed-bound and nonverbal. Lisa would talk to her, watch her favorite shows with her, and even online shop with her. Lisa took great pride in caring for her patient.

Registered Nurse, Private Duty Care Specialist For Newborns And Infants

Remember when families would hire a NURSE to care for their new baby? Beyond the paper credential offered by a simple 'certification course', if you are looking for an experienced registered nurse to care for your newborn, infant or toddler, you have come to the right place. My care can include: Night duty. Sick child duty and medications. Transportation as needed. Short and long term assignments. I prepare the earliest mother's milk/formula for bottle feedings, and then later, I hand prepare organic purees and solid feedings. After 45 years on duty, I recently expanded my private practice to offer individual families the specialty of private, hands-on RN care for newborns, infants, and very young children. I bring a wide and unique set of education, experience, and skills to all my families. CPR and first aid certified, I am DTaP, PPD and flu/pneumonia shot updated. Please read the reviews posted by current and former clients, then click to contact me today, best wishes!

Kay is a caring professional whose knowledge and experience sets her apart from the crowd. She brings a wealth of tools and tricks but always advocates that we know our child best, deferring to our schedules and plans. She has exceeded all of our expectations. Being first time parents in a pandemic made us feel isolated but she has really helped us feel more confident. I highly recommend her.
