About Amy

Care-giving is my life and passion. I am a mother of 5 children and grandmother to 1. Care and empathy is in my blood. It is my desire to put others first. At 16, I already knew I wanted to build a career in the medical field. I have worked as a CNA, dental assistant, personal care giver, orthopedic medical assistant, weight loss educator, and most recently a care coordinator and clinical supervisor for a breast surgeon in an oncology clinic. I have cared for a client who was blind, someone who had a rare neurological disorder, a person with advanced stages of dementia, the elderly who needed companionship and woman and men with breast cancer. I also worked on the Medical surgical floor in a hospital caring for patients with a plethora of issues. Care ranged from detoxes, post surgical to end of life patients. I continued my education as I was raising my five children and working. I received my diploma in Medical assisting while also taking additional nursing classes.
