Amy S was an aide for my elderly father for many years. She came to his apartment on time and was always dependable and cheerful. She took very good care of my dad, being attentive to his needs and talked very respectfully to him, whether he was in a good or not so good mood. Some days, she would even make him special food, such as baking a pie for him. More recently, with the Covid-19 pandemic, she was careful to wear a mask and would clean all surfaces of his apartment with bleach. Amy treated my dad as if he was part of her family. From my perspective, she really seemed to enjoy being around him and would let me know if there was anything of concern. We have used many aides throughout the years, and I would rank Amy at the top of the list. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciated having Amy take care of my dad. I think anyone would be lucky to find someone so genuine, dependable, hard working and caring as Amy.

Hello! My name is Nayla, I've been working off and on as a caregiver for 9 years total. I received my CNA/HHA certifications at the age of 18 (currently expired). Recently I had been working as a receptionist in an Orthodontic office but im in search for a job that permits me more time to accomplish my volunteer work. One of the jobs I have enjoyed the most is working as a nursing assistant. It's such a satisfying feeling helping others in need. I'm a great listener! I enjoy listening to clients childhood memories and them showing me their photos. My supervisors have described me as compassionate, patient, respectful, hard worker, punctual and respectful. I'd be more than happy to provide references if needed. As a previous caregiver, I learned to administer medication, take vital signs, bathe/groom, document health progress, housekeeping, etc. I worked in a dementia unit for 5 years. I speak English/Spanish fluently.

Nayla is a fantastic person with a great personality. She is great with people no matter what age. She has taken care of my daughter who is now three years old, on a few different occasions and my daughter loves her. She would teach her songs and teach her Spanish. Nayla has two kids of her own and they are outstanding kids. Nayla takes a very serious and loving interest in her kids and teaches them excellent morals. Nayla also works really well with elderly people. She is very loving and kind and takes a genuine interest in them. I've known Nayla and her parents and her immediate family for over 10 years now and they are all really fantastic. She comes from a really good family. Nayla is dedicated and very studious and a very conscientious worker. She's fantastic! I love her! I can't say enough good things about her!

Compassionate CNA/HHA With Many Years Experience Caring For Those With Dementia & Alzheimer's

Avg response < 12 hrs
I am current on the MN Nursing Assistant Registry. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aide & have many years' experience caring for the elderly. I started working as a Nursing Assistant when I was 16. Over the years I have worked in Nursing Homes and for Home care agencies. I prefer caring for clients in their home because I like the one on one care and having quality time without being rushed to provide compassionate care. I love getting to know my clients and hearing their life stories. I've cared for many clients with Alzheimer's and dementia including my father. For over 3 years he needed 24-hour care and I stayed with him at his place most of the time while taking care of him. I have also worked 24-hour live-in shifts caring for several clients with dementia. At 23 I bought my first house and moved my grandparents in when they needed full time care. I arrive on time. I am professional & kindhearted. I have a great sense of humor and a passion for care-giving.

Lynn did an amazing job taking care of my father. I also work in the health care field but was unable to provide the twenty-four-hour care he needed. Lynn treated my father with the utmost respect. She was dependable and professional the whole time. I really appreciate the impact she had on his life during his final days.
