Helen worked for my aunt for 13 years. She passed away in January 2020. In the local courier community magazine Helen was named as a survivor of Aunt Susi. Helen was the daughter that my aunt always wanted and so much more. Helen is an nothing less than an angel walking on earth. She is proficient in all that she does. Her empathy and compassion, attentiveness, patience, dependability and reliability are second to none. She's a natural born caregiver. She's an amazing cook with a great personality and always has a great attitude. Anyone would be lucky and fortunate to have Helen as their caregiver.

CNA For Senior Care

Responds within a day
I became a Certified Nurse Assistant in 1994. I worked in the hospital on Labor & Delivery, as well as, the Nursery for 10 years. I transitioned into Home Health Care in 2005. I've cared for children, adults and seniors with a multi range of conditions. My experience includes post op care, ALS, cancer, spinal cord injury, AIDS, stroke, Alzheimer's, Familial Dysautonomia, assisted living, etc. I am proficient in catheter care, g-tube, ng-tube, wound dressing, vitals, c-pap, blood sugars, ROM exercises, and countless other nursing requirements. I've been employed in several nursing homes and witnessed what goes on behind closed doors. I've become even more passionate about keeping seniors and any disabled person in their homes. I feel it is very important that our beloved remain in their safe, familiar environment. You can rest assured that your loved one will be given the best care.

Amy was one in a million. She took incredible care of me. I had been through dozens of caregivers and it was terrible trying to find someone who was reliable and truly cared. I only wish I had found Amy first. She's gone above and beyond. If my health fails again Amy is the only person I will have caring for me. She also took care of my friend who passed away from ALS and she was phenomenal. I love her like a daughter! She is truly one of a kind.

Former Army Medic Available To Go To Doctor's Appoint. And Assist With Home And Medical Advocacy.

Hello, My love for the aging started as a young child when my parents took me and my siblings to a care center and had us participate in "Adopt a Grandparent" program. Mind you, this was long before volunteering was what you did, and certainly who would bring children into a nursing home? But my parents did, and it instilled in me a deep love and respect for my elders. As a Care Manager, I attend doctor appointments, run errands, and assist the family many ways." I hire and arranged schedules with aids. I also travel. I am a former Army Medic. I can do blood pressures and medications, and cook a healthy meal and make sure there is plenty of food in the house too. I am a midwestern, native English speaker and can provide you with great care, honesty, magnificent work ethic. I can give you my current resume and references are current. Thank you for reading.

Hired Paula to care for my mother 4 days a week. I cannot say enough good things about her. As I lived out of town it was extremely important to have someone that was reliable, had excellent communication skills, and would care for my mother as if they were caring for their own parent. Not only did Paula meet my expectations but she also turned out to be a great companion for my mother that was willing to do whatever it took to ensure her happiness and safety. Although their time together was short (a few months) It would not be an exaggeration to say my mom felt like Paula was the daughter that she never had. I would strongly recommend hiring Paula to anyone who is looking for someone to care for their loved one. She was a great find!
