We are using an Eat/Play/Sleep cycle to separate eating from falling asleep. Paced bottle feeding is important to us to protect breastfeeding. Our son is not a big crier, so being attuned to what he might need (food, sleep) is essential. He's social and loves to be talked to. And we love reading to him. Our ideal caregiver: We are looking for a reliable and responsible live-out nanny to start in January Tues/Wed/Thurs 8:30-5:30-ish, helping in the care of our son, who will be 6 months old then. They should be kind, patient, and nurturing to him, interested in his development, and helping him grow and reach his milestones. We're looking for someone energetic and engaging, who will arrange playgroups with other kids his age, take him to the playground and library, etc. We'd like for this person to have infant CPR certification (or be willing to get certified--we can cover the cost), to prepare and clean up after our child's meals, and tidy up his toys/books at the end of the day. Looking for great references! Additional needs include light housekeeping, meal prep and a non-smoker. Looking for a caregiver for my infant son. My schedule may vary.
