We just had our daughter at the end of January and she is a sweetheart who loves cuddles, dancing, eating and sleeping. She is already doing really well with a general routine and when she sleeps nothing will wake her except hunger pains. We have 2 dogs ~35lb mixes )12 yr and 8yrs)and a small 7lb Yorkiepoo (2yr ) who all are very friendly, well behaved and love people. They love the baby too but don't pester her. The little pup is a toy thief though so we do have to keep baby toys away. I am in the Coast Guard and work with Search and Rescue in the Command Center in Mobile, so I have long days and a long drive. My husband is a contractor for Hurlburt field and also has a long drive but much more flexible hours. Our ideal caregiver: I will be returning to work and leaving my first child in the care of a nanny, which is incredibly difficult for me so I need to trust and feel very comfortable with who I choose to take care of my daughter. I prefer someone who has also has children (age doesn't matter-it's the experience) and loves dogs since I have three of those that will be there as well. The ideal person will very caring and very respectful of trying to maintain my parenting preferences. I would love for someone who could help out a little with just light cleaning (running the dishwasher, wiping counters, emptying the roomba base, and diaper genie, etc). But cleaning is less important to me then finding someone with the right temperament, values, and experience. The schedule will vary by days/times but should be consistent hours and a long term job opportunity. Additional needs include light housekeeping, having a reliable car, being comfortable with pets and a non-smoker. Looking for a caregiver for my infant daughter. Flexible start date. My schedule may vary.
