Avg response < 1 hrs
Hello! My name is Nia, I'm 19 years old, and I've nannied children professionally for the past 7 years. I have full-time experience caring for ages ranging from infants to pre-teens (specifically 5 months to 12/13 years old). I have part-time experience for ages ranging from 0 months to 15 years old (pick-ups/drop-offs). I have significant full-time experience in caring for multiple children at one time (varying ages, twins, as well as multiple infants). I have also cared for children with both physical (cerebral palsy) and mental disabilities (autism, speech impairments, etc). At this time, I am only looking for full-time positions with guaranteed hours/pay. I am open to discussing long-term commitments, long hours, overtime, short-notice care, travel, etc.

We have been incredibly lucky to have Nia as our nanny for the last 7 mo. She has been great to work with - she's loving, calm, patient, & flexible as she helped our 6 & 7 month-old babies develop into toddlers. Our babies' needs & skills have changed so much in that time & Nia has been proactive in recognizing those changes & adapting care strategies to meet them. Nia has simultaneously cared for our 2 infants (now toddlers) with grace & balance, identifying innovative activities in an engaging & safe environment. She communicates well with us & the other parents in our nanny-share, keeping us up to date on the babies' skills, routines, or things to keep an eye on. She has been calm in the face of a crisis, able to work additional hours when needed - even on short notice, & is a wonderful and steady, supportive presence in our families. As our toddlers transition to a daycare center for a wider socialization, we will desperately miss Nia & everything she has done for our families
