Hi I'm Kate! I'm a senior nursing student at St Catherine University in St Paul. I love traveling, hiking, camping, biking, (basically being outdoors!) and anything music-related (I sing in our university choir and play both electric/acoustic guitar and piano). Pre-college, I did dance, gymnastics, theater, and soccer. I am the oldest of 6 children including twins, and have about 8 years of experience with children covering all ages and including babysitting, full-time nannying, and working in a childcare center. I'm understanding, creative, observant, and really enjoy making connections with the kids I've gotten to hang out with :) Special skills: lots of infant experience (starting at 4wks!), extremely patient, will tidy kitchen/kids areas, clear communicator, outstanding sense of humor, will do interpretive dancing while kids brush their teeth, not phased by much, and experienced with neurodivergent and sensory challenged kids. Kate has watched our 1 year old son on quite a few occasions including full days where he's stayed home from daycare as well as date nights. She has always made us feel extremely comfortable and confident with the care she's providing. Kate is warm, kind, and loving. She always keeps us updated with texts and pictures. We look forward to having Kate watch our son in the future and can't recommend her enough!
