We have been offering quality Montessori education for the surrounding community since 2000. Our three classroom school sits on five acres in New Albany. Our classrooms have a full compliment of the Montessori materials and our staff are Montessori trained. Montessori education provides an exceptional learning environment as well as a respectful and peaceful community for your child to grow socially and emotionally. Parent and teacher communication is essential in early childhood, so we place a lot of importance in establishing regular communication with our families. Our school is a safe place for your preschooler or kindergartener to develop the skills and confidence that will benefit them as they move through their school career.

CMC is an independent, nonprofit program dedicated to offering accessible, fully-implemented Montessori education and child care to families in Columbus and throughout Central Ohio. We are now enrolling children from 2.5 through 5 years old in our mixed-age learning communities called Children's Houses. CMC is open most normal business days with a range of academic-year and full-year schedules. We offer Partial Day, Full Day, and Extended Day options from 7:30 AM through 5:30 PM. In future years, we hope to expand to include an elementary program as well as options for infants and toddlers. Our goal, as an intentionally diverse and socially responsible institution, is to make joining CMC accessible and affordable to as many Central Ohio families as possible. To meet that goal, we offer Sliding Scale Fees to all families across a range of scheduling options. This means we charge fees to families that are responsive to their financial circumstances and childcare needs (as opposed to a single set of fees for all families). CMC is also a PFCC (formerly Title XX) provider. To schedule a visit, please go to calendly.com/visitcmc/visit.

Apple Cheeks Home Daycare was started in the Fall of 2017. We began looking for a daycare center for our daughter shortly before she turned one years old and what we found neither satisfied what we were looking for nor did we feel our daughter was "ready" for that drastic environmental change. Instead, we did the next best thing and opened Apple Cheeks Home Daycare right in our home. Several months later is when we stumbled upon Montessori and we haven't looked back since! Apple Cheeks Home Daycare is a Montessori-Inspired in-home daycare service in the Northeast Columbus/Gahanna/Westerville neighborhood. We're conveniently located approximately 5 minutes from Easton and 270. We're looking forward to meeting you and hope you can schedule an appointment to visit us soon! Thank you!
