Allison was a very nice individual and my father enjoyed working with her. As we're offering very limited part-time work, we know that we can't be much of a priority for someone with a full plate like Allison: full-time job, family, kids, school. Upfront I expressed my concern due to the time & energy to interview people, get someone in place, get them trained by PT, etc.. I was assured she had no issue juggling all of it. Employment lasted only 1 month, with missed/canceled sessions on her part each of the last two weeks, followed by a text noting "an unexpected change in my full-time work schedule, unfortunately, can't continue working with your dad", no notice. Pretty much what I expected for someone with that full a plate. Dad enjoyed working with her, and she indicated she enjoyed working with him as well. I just wish Allison had made a proper assessment of her commitments and priorities, which would have avoided wasted time and energy (and some expense) by all parties.
