I have volunteered to tutor children in the Elementary ages with help on reading on comprehension. Language Arts is my strong suit but I'm also capable in tutoring in Math and Science (Elementary).

Aloha, I am a fully-licensed teacher in the State of Hawaii with a Bachelors of Education in Music. In addition to this, I am a bilingual with a minor in Japanese Language. I am currently the music teacher at Iroquois Point Elementary School, working with students in grades K to 6. Although my teaching assignment is in elementary, I also have extensive experience working with middle and high school aged students through volunteer work with Kaimuki Middle, Kaimuki High, and Kalani High Schools. In addition, I am licensed to teach students from grade K to 12. I am able to provide tutoring in subjects such as math, reading, music, and Japanese language. During high school, I volunteered for Give Every Child a Chance for 3 years doing after-school tutoring. I have also helped my younger sisters with their schoolwork often! I have a B. S degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences. I can tutor in any English or history classes, any high school level sciences (Chemistry, physics, biology), and math (basic arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and pre-calc/ Calc I).
