I am a 2014 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, with a Bachelors of Science in Broad Area English Education. I also have a minor in History. During the year, I work as a Middle School special education teacher, specializing in English and remedial math. Areas of expertise include: test preparation (including ACT and SAT), writing, literature, reading, public speaking, world and American history, geography and earth science. As a tutor, I strive to keep the student organized, and focused on the task at hand. I have extensive experience with a variety of student ability levels and am capable of differentiating my instruction to meet student needs. My goal as a tutor is to create a safe and relaxed learning environment for students, while providing an individualized instruction plan decided upon by the parent and/or student. I provide summer maintenance learning to specific subject matter, and am comfortable and experienced with learners of all ages.
