Seeking A Caring & Interactive Care Attendant For A Young Man With Intellectual Disabilities

Like most young men, our son doesn't want to be with his parents ALL the time. He is seeking a caring, reliable person to support his personal care needs (Feeding, Toileting, Transferring, Changing clothes, etc) and daily activities like neighborhood walks or a run to the mall. Lack of experience with the special needs can be easily replaced with patience, compassion and quick ability to learn. No medical training needed. This part time position is mostly in the evening when the schedule is quieter and weekends. Hours are flexible. Nonverbal, physical disabilities, Deafness, Cognitive Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, Blindness/Visual Impairment. Excellent referrals required. Good driving record required to access handicap accessible van.
