Looking for part-time caregiver for our 25 y/o daughter with Rett Syndrome. Our sweet girl is non-verbal, in a wheelchair, fed by g-tube and has occasional seizures requiring administration of rescue meds. Typical duties would include sitting with her to watch tv, reading to her, supporting her on the toilet, diaper changes, tending to her tube feedings, feeding snacks and providing companionship. She is very mild mannered with no behavior issues and loves napping and listening to Patsy Cline. Must be physically able to transfer 90 lbs in/out of chair and onto toilet or bed as needed. We live in a comfortable NE Portland home close to parks and shops for walking to in good weather. We've had only a handful of caregivers over the past 15 years as most have stayed with us for 5-10 years and left only due to moving or life changes.
