My father is recovering from open-heart surgery (Nov 7) and needs a compassionate, reliable caregiver at home. Preferably someone experienced with open-heart recovery and familiar with basic OT needs. Support needed with mobility (walking 3x/day), wound-care monitoring, bathing safety (he bathes himself; just needs someone nearby), dressing, medication reminders, safe lifting, transportation, meal prep, and companionship. His daughter is here through Nov 19 to help with setup but needs time to step away for other responsibilities. After she leaves, he will need care from 8am-8 p.m. during the second week. He's growing stronger daily and strives to stay independent--he just needs someone kind, patient, and attentive for safety and support.
