About who needs care: My grandmother is in later stages of dementia and Alzheimer's. She needs assistance eating, simple food prep, administering medications, bathing, assisting to use the bathroom, assistance changing clothes and diaper changing with occasional accident cleanup. Light household chores are required, including emptying trash and taking dirty clothes or sheets to laundry room. About the care needs: Someone that has experience with elderly patients, preferred experience with Alzheimer's and dementia. Someone that is patient but understands the issues with those with dementia need to be stern at times. Need to be able to lift and assist lifting in and out of chair or to use the bathroom or to shower. Services needed include: meal preparation, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
