About who needs care: Very active 76-year-old man with mid-stage Alzheimer's, as well as Aspergers syndrome. Likes to get out and about and go to the gym, go curling, biking, boating, fishing etc. but requires assistance and in particular will need transport to activities. Also has poor self care habits and requires assistance keeping living space clean. Looking for someone willing to take him to activities but also engage in some of them, and especially willing to lend a listening ear. Male caregiver strongly preferred. Generally most active in the mid afternoons into late evenings. About the care needs: Male caregiver strongly preferred, ideally someone interested in outdoor activities and sports to engage in my father's interests with him. Willingness to support my father's interests in biking and curling strongly preferred. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
