I'm searching for a hands-on care provider experience for my father in his 80s. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping. Assistance with bathing is one of our requirements as well as help preparing meals, and making sure he takes his meds. Duties include providing social interaction. We ask that you handle transportation as needed if an emergency situation arose. I will be taking him to appointments. Prefer a non-smoker and comfortable with pets. My father has one tortoise shell cat named Olivia that is his companion. My father has vestibular dementia, and his short-term memory can be spotty. He is for the most part very coherent, but weak and cannot walk or stand for long periods. Bathing is very difficult for him.
