RN/LPN or experienced CNA for quadriplegic male, mid-20s Responsibilities: • Remove overnight positioning aids • Percussion vest operation and range of motion exercises • Bladder program: catheter removal, straight cath with medication rinse • Apply leg bag and fresh external catheter • Patient dressing and transfer to power wheelchair via overhead Hoyer lift • Face washing, mouth spray/rinse, hair styling • Medication administration • Setup for daily activities • Light housekeeping during downtime Equipment: Hospital bed, overhead track Hoyer lift, power wheelchair, percussion vest Training: Complete one-on-one training provided Ideal candidate: RN/LPN preferred, or with catheter care and transfer experience Well-equipped home environment. Patient has temperature regulation issues so home kept warm.
