Seeking PT driver/companion to help young woman with autism benefit from community activities s/a classes, social groups, recreation, work, fitness and skill-building. No extensive experience with special needs necessary, but you must be a morning person with a desire to teach and learn. Ideal candidate is calm, patient, reliable, willing to drive 10 hours/week (+ commute), and a strong communicator. If your field of interest is a helping profession such as education, clinical services, psychology, healthcare, social work, (or theatre), you will want to be part of this coordinated care team! Prof development, training, advancement and FT opportunities available. Only drivers commuting from < 15 miles of Chevy Chase MD need apply.
